It's instructive, and ironic, how how many of the "holier than thou" people on this board are obsessed with this. They should change the forum's name to the "Mammary Board"!

Bill, it seems you have a lot of problems with women. Seeing as how the majority (VAST majority) of people who frequent this board are women, why do you continue to come here? To anger yourself? It seems that you desire to sow the seeds of discord and/or start debates that really don't have a place here. The majority of people who come here are discussing health-related topics, not debating pro-choice vs. pro-life issues and the like. There are boards just for this kind of thing. Perhaps you would be best served by finding another board that better meets your needs. Just a suggestion...
And, for the record, this is NOT going to turn into a big back and forth. That's all I'm going to say, and I'm saying it in a kind way. Your posts generally don't bother me as I mostly ignore people I don't agree with. I'm just wondering why you continue on this board if there is so much you don't like about it.

This proves that it's become a stupid, humorless, waste of time here. If my being pro-choice, against dangerous unnecessary cosmetic surgery operations, and opposed to things that have traditionally oppressed both sexes means that I have "a lot of problems with women", then I'll leave.

Pam, You definitely didn't piss me off! Sorry if it seemed that way. I can't take epinephrine at all - when I have taken novocaine which has epinephrine in it (but there is an epi-free version as I understand) it's given me extreme tachycardia. I haven't had anesthesia since I started having MVP symptoms again but I did take a migraine medication that had epinephrine in it and wound up in the ER with my heart going like a race car! So, I wouldn't recommend epinephrine for anyone who has MVP. I know there are anesthetics we can take - talk to your doctor to be sure.

<<<<<<<<<<< rassssssberrriiiiiies >>>>>>>>
I do stay away from the epenephrine but seems some of the mvp'ers have had it with no complications. I DO indeed REMIND my dentist cuz 2 years ago I was a shakin' outta my chair and too embarrassed to say anything. That was moritifying. I didn't know there was alternatives to epenephrine when it came to being put under, .. and I will ask my doc when I go for my bloodwork!
:-)
